Headed the mine clearing in the Estonian Republic (Eesti Vabariik) and in Tallinn, 1944. Headed the mine clearing in the North-West region and all territory of Russia, 1944 - 1957
Dealt with fortification of artillery, flak and anti-aircraft missile units, 1958 - 1966
State Adviser - the First Director General of "Jubilee", sport and concert complex (one of the largest of engineering objects in Saint-Petersburg), 1967 - 71
Supervised over the organization of European Championship in figure skating and sport ice-dancing carried out in Saint-Petersburg, February 4 - 8, 1970

For our Family it is a Great Honour that at the end of World War II (1944) Major Alexander-Michael Zielenski Headed the mine clearing of Tallinn (REVAL) - one of the oldest cities in North-East Europe, the unique heritage of medieval fortification and engineering. Besides it was Great Honour for Major A.-M. Zielenski to mine clear - and save fortificational and civil objects of the city, which were reconstructed by Engineer-General Sir Abram Gannibal in the XVIII century (the first Russian military engineer, a favourite follower of Emperor PETER the Great)

Military archive, library, uniforms, orders and medals, personal things of Colonel A.-M. Zielenski are kept in The Museum of artillery, engineering and communication troops (SPb), from 20.10.2005
